Rotisserie Rack Questions
I am looking for a unique type of Thermometer to be used with my Rotisserie smoker.?
Unfortunately due to the fact that it’s a rotisserie a traditional meat thermometer cannot be used to monitor the temperature of the meat throughout the smoking process. The only thermometer that I can find that somewhat meets my needs is the Maverick ET-75 but this thermometer is only used on a smoker that has a hole on the side to slide the wire through to allow the rotisserie to continue to rotate. I currently have a American Barbeque Systems Pit-Boss http://americanbarbecuesystems.com/Pit-Boss.asp and this smoker has several racks which would easily entagle the wires that most meat thermometers use. Hopefully I have made a little bit of sense in my rambling but any help would be greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately I have already tried to contact the distribution company for the smoker and they haven’t heard of anything either.
If it were me…I would call or email the company and see if they have a thermometer that goes with the product you have…………If not they might be able to give you some suggestions………..
